About this ebook

Buy a planet and disappear...That's all Cole wanted. He spent thirteen years hiding on the fringes of society, piloting freighters for criminals and building a stash to do just that. But life happens when you're busy making plans. When Cole chooses to save an ejected castaway and stumbles into a crew of his own, he starts down a path that will force him to choose. Will Cole protect those who have become his people? Or will he slip away quietly in the night?

Very much enjoyed this book. Engaging from the start; it kept me hooked until the end. 4.5 stars - a wee bit off for a bit of melodrama from a female officer that I wasn't sure was entirely plausible. But otherwise great fun.

SciFi action, space ships, battles. large cast of characters. I did finish the book, I will not read the series. It failed to really grab my interest, I didn´t feel involved with the characters. So...OK story Good but not Great. Could have been written more smoothly , a little weak on character development.
